I love this! It looks great as a rug and I have another I use as a table cloth. The quality it very durable. Soft to the touch and they have all different sizes available. Easy to clean you can just vacuum it. The wrinkles from shipping come out in time. Perfect thickness as well.
It's a good alternative to a real fur rug. It has no texture to it so my son cant ruin it as easy.
It’s clearly not a real cowhide rug but I think it accents my couch very nicely. I would recommend especially for the price.
I can’t believe it’s not real! Super soft and the backing looks like real hide. My friends came over and thought it was one of our cows. Looks great in the room and is true to size. No funny smell.

I started liking the rug overtime. Wish I would have gotten a bit bigger. Definitely a statement piece! Gives off country vibes. It’s not a very plush style rug. It gives the suede feel as it states.

I did not realize when I made this purchase that it was a faux rug. I thought I was buying the real thing. I decided to keep it anyway to avoid the hassle. It looks alright just disappointed is all.
Over the years I have purchased a number of cowhides most of them from Brazil or Mexico. The hides were used as accent pieces on the floor adding to the western decor. In every instance the hides soon showed wear by losing hair from foot traffic. Loose hair was found in the vacuum cleaner and in other parts of the house. At some point the hides became too much work, rolled up, and used in crafts.
Getting the urge for another hide but not wanting the hassle I shopped for a faux hide. After looking at a number of vendors’ products I settled on this one. I could not be more pleased. It looks real (without the smell). It is thinner than a real hide but not by much. And it has the texture real hair. It was put down in a high traffic area as a test. A few days later I swept it with a broom and even used the vacuum on it. No hair fibers! It does come folded but the creases soon relax.
